<p>The digitalization of public services has encouraged government institutions, including the Sidenreng Rappang Regency Government, to use TikTok as an official communication channel through the @pemkab.sidrap account. This study aims to analyze the level of Fear of Missing Out (FOMO) among the public in accessing government TikTok content, assess the level of digital participation, and examine the effect of FOMO on digital participation. A quantitative approach was employed, involving 108 respondents selected from 4,371 followers using purposive sampling, followed by snowball sampling due to the absence of an accessible sampling frame on TikTok. Data were collected through an online questionnaire using a four-point Likert scale and analyzed using SPSS through descriptive analysis, validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, and simple linear regression. The findings indicate that FOMO has a positive and significant effect on public digital participation in the Sidenreng Rappang Regency Government’s TikTok account. This suggests that individuals’ desire to avoid missing information encourages them to access, follow, and interact more actively with government social media content. However, FOMO does not fully explain digital participation, as 31.7% of its variation remains attributable to other factors outside the research model. <p>This study aims to analyze the implementation of e-government through the Sentuh Tanahku application and to determine its effect on the quality of public services at the Land Office of Sidenreng Rappang Regency. This research is motivated by the utilization of digital technology in land services through the Sentuh Tanahku application as a form of e-government implementation aimed at improving the effectiveness, efficiency, and quality of public services. This study employed a quantitative method with a descriptive and verificative approach. The population consisted of 170 verified users of the Sentuh Tanahku application, with a sample of 63 respondents. The sample was determined using the Slovin formula and purposive sampling technique. Data were collected through observation, questionnaires, and literature review. The collected data were then analyzed using descriptive statistics and simple linear regression with the assistance of IBM SPSS Statistics 21. The results showed that the implementation of e-government through the Sentuh Tanahku application was categorized as good, with a percentage of 73.4%. This finding indicates that the aspects of support, capacity, and value had been implemented well in supporting the provision of public services at the Land Office of Sidenreng Rappang Regency. Furthermore, the results of the simple linear regression analysis showed that the implementation of e-government through the Sentuh Tanahku application had a positive and significant effect on the quality of public services. The coefficient of determination (R Square) was 0.459, indicating that the implementation of e-government contributed 45.9% to the quality of public services, while the remaining 54.1% was influenced by other factors not examined in this study. The t-test results showed a t-value of 7.196 with a significance level of 0.000 (< 0.05), indicating that the research hypothesis was accepted. <p>The rapid expansion of digital commerce has transformed the halal marketplace, creating new opportunities while intensifying concerns regarding halal integrity, consumer trust, and religious compliance in online purchasing environments. This study aims to develop a conceptual digital halal marketplace adoption model by synthesizing the relationships among perceived halal assurance, trust, religiosity, and consumer purchase decisions. Employing a literature review approach, the study systematically examines and integrates contemporary scholarly evidence on halal digital ecosystems, consumer behavior, technology adoption, and Islamic marketing. The reviewed literature indicates that perceived halal assurance functions as a critical antecedent that reduces uncertainty and strengthens consumers' confidence in digital transactions. Trust consistently emerges as a mediating mechanism that reinforces consumers' willingness to engage with halal marketplace platforms and ultimately influences purchase decisions. Furthermore, religiosity shapes consumers' evaluation processes by strengthening their preference for halal-compliant products and platforms that align with Islamic principles. The synthesis also reveals that the interaction among halal assurance, trust, and religiosity provides a more comprehensive explanation of consumer decision-making than isolated examinations of these constructs. Based on these findings, this study proposes an integrated conceptual framework that explains digital halal marketplace adoption from both technological and Islamic behavioral perspectives. The proposed model contributes to the advancement of halal consumer behavior literature by consolidating fragmented theoretical perspectives into a coherent framework for future empirical validation. In this context, Artificial Intelligence has emerged as a strategic enabler for optimizing marketing activities by supporting data-driven decision-making, enhancing promotional effectiveness, and improving communication with consumers. This study aims to analyze the role of Artificial Intelligence-driven marketing in enhancing the competitiveness of agricultural products in the digital economy. This study employed a qualitative approach using a literature review method by analyzing relevant books, scientific articles, and previous studies, with the collected data being systematically interpreted and synthesized to address the research objectives. The findings indicate that Artificial Intelligence-driven marketing contributes to improving the competitiveness of agricultural products by expanding market reach, increasing product value, strengthening consumer engagement, and enhancing overall marketing performance. The effectiveness of its implementation is supported by digital infrastructure readiness, high-quality marketing data, competent human resources, organizational support, and the integration of technology into marketing activities, although several implementation challenges remain. <p>The repetition of Qur'anic verses (<em>takrār al-ayat</em>) is one of the distinctive rhetorical features of the Qur'an, reflecting profound meanings, wisdom, and communicative purposes. One of the most significant examples appears in Surah Al-Qamar verses 17, 22, 32, and 40 through the repeated statement, "<em>Wa laqad yassarna al-Qur'ana li al-dhikri fa hal min muddakir</em>" ("Indeed, we have made the Qur'an easy for remembrance, so is there anyone who will take heed?"), which occurs four times within the same surah. This study aims to examine the meaning of taisīr, analyze the function of the repeated taisīr verse, and construct the dimensions of Qur'anic taisīr from the perspective of Ibn Kathir's exegesis. This research employs a qualitative library research approach using the tahlili (analytical) method of Qur'anic exegesis combined with content analysis. Primary data were obtained from the Qur'an and Tafsīr al-Qur'ān al-'Aẓīm by Ibn Kathir, while secondary data were collected from classical works on 'Ulūm al-Qur'ān, Qur'anic commentaries, and relevant scholarly publications. Data collection was conducted through documentation studies, followed by verse identification, linguistic analysis, contextual interpretation, comparative examination of exegetical views, thematic classification, and inductive interpretation. The findings reveal that, according to Ibn Kathir, taisīr extends beyond the ease of reciting and memorizing the Qur'an to include the ease of understanding, contemplating, and receiving divine guidance from its teachings. The repeated verse functions as theological affirmation, rhetorical reinforcement, a means of Qur'anic exhortation, thematic cohesion within the surah, and a reflective invitation for humanity to learn from the history of previous nations. <p>PT XYZ manufactures rotogravure cylinders as printing masters for flexible packaging. The primary issue was the high reprocessing ratio (reprocess NG) during January–November 2024 and 2025, reaching Year-to-Date (YTD) averages of 3.89% and 2.37% respectively, both exceeding the company's 2.00% tolerance target. This study aims to identify the dominant defects, analyze their root causes, and formulate corrective actions using the Quality Control Circle (QCC) method through the PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Action) cycle and Seven Tools. Pareto chart analysis revealed three dominant defects accounting for 82.21% of the cumulative problems: Bubble (34.62%), Pinhole (29.32%), and Corrosion (18.27%). Fishbone diagram analysis indicated root causes stemming from unstable chemical dosing flow, difficulty cleaning the copper nugget basket, lack of standardized instructions for material replenishment and oiling, and humid storage conditions. Corrective actions included replacing the dosing pump hose, modifying the copper nugget cleaning tool, establishing an enclosed storage area, and developing new Work Instructions equipped with Visual Control Checks. <p>The rapid advancement of Artificial Intelligence has significantly transformed the processing and utilization of personal data, creating increasingly complex privacy challenges that extend beyond the scope of conventional data protection frameworks. Existing privacy laws in many jurisdictions have struggled to keep pace with the evolving capabilities of AI technologies, particularly regarding automated decision-making, algorithmic processing, cross-border data transfers, and large-scale data analytics. These developments have prompted governments and international organizations to reform legal frameworks in order to establish effective AI governance while maintaining the protection of fundamental rights and supporting technological innovation. This study aims to comparatively analyze privacy law frameworks governing Artificial Intelligence across major jurisdictions and to examine the regulatory gaps and future directions for AI-oriented privacy law reform. This research employs normative legal research using statutory, comparative, and conceptual approaches by analyzing international legal instruments, national legislation, and relevant scholarly literature concerning privacy protection and Artificial Intelligence governance. The findings demonstrate that the European Union, the United States, China, and Indonesia have adopted distinct regulatory approaches reflecting different legal traditions, governance priorities, and policy objectives, resulting in varying levels of protection, accountability, enforcement, and AI oversight. The study further identifies fragmented regulations, jurisdictional conflicts, cross-border data transfer issues, algorithmic accountability, transparency concerns, and enforcement limitations as the principal legal challenges that continue to hinder the effectiveness of global AI governance. Accordingly, future privacy law reform should prioritize adaptive and risk-based regulation, strengthen international regulatory harmonization, integrate privacy by design and human oversight into AI governance, and promote global cooperation to establish a balanced legal framework capable of safeguarding privacy while supporting responsible Artificial Intelligence innovation.</p>Any Farida

<p>This study aims to analyze the implementation of Digital Population Identity (IKD) in public services at the Population and Civil Registration Office of Parepare City and identify factors that still pose obstacles to its implementation. This study used a descriptive qualitative method with George C. Edward III's implementation theory, which includes communication, resources, disposition, and bureaucratic structure, as well as Servqual theory in analyzing public services.The results indicate that the implementation of IKD has been quite successful, but there are still aspects that are not optimal. NVivo coding results indicate that resources obtained a percentage of 2.7%, reflecting the continued limitations in facilities, supporting devices, internet networks, and smartphones. In terms of public services, network errors were the most dominant obstacle, accounting for 5.9% of the time, while reliability was only 0.1%, indicating that service consistency is still affected by network disruptions and application technical issues. Furthermore, low levels of digital literacy also contribute to difficulties for some individuals using the Digital Population Identity (IKD). Therefore, improvements to facilities and infrastructure, strengthening of the network and application system, and increased outreach and support for the public are needed to optimize IKD implementation and support improvements in the quality of public services.</p>NurfadillahMonalisa IbrahimAndi Uceng

<p>The implementation of the circular economy (CE) is often constrained by the dominance of profit-oriented logic, ignopring essential social pillars like justice and inclusivity. This study aims to explore the distinctive circular economy model embedded in the Difapreneur and Skizopreneur programs in Denpasar, Bali, which integrate social sustainability into environmental practices. Employing an exploratory case study approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews with persons with disabilities, schizophrenia survivors, and facilitators from PT Pertamina Patra Niaga Fuel Terminal Sanggaran. These data were complemented by analyses of strategic documents and reports on environmental impact. The findings reveal that the transformational synergy of coffee grounds waste into herbal incense has successfully created a new value chain that economically and socially empowers marginalized groups. In addition to providing a real ecological solution by mitigating methane emissions, the program effectively redistributes power by transforming vulnerable groups from passive aid recipients into autonomous economic actors. <p>This study aims to analyze public policy regarding waste management in Panca Rijang District, Sidenreng Rappang Regency; identify factors influencing its implementation; and formulate an effective and sustainable waste management policy model. The study employs a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. Research informants included the Panca Rijang District Head, the Sidenreng Rappang Regency Environmental Agency, sub-district heads, sanitation workers, and local residents. Data analysis utilized the Miles and Huberman interactive model, comprising data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, and was reinforced by analysis using NVivo 12 Plus software. The results indicate that the implementation of waste management policy in Panca Rijang District has not yet proceeded optimally. Key issues identified include low rates of household waste sorting, limited waste collection fleets, suboptimal utilization of 3R (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) waste facilities, and low community participation. Policy effectiveness is influenced by policy and regulatory factors, implementation factors (facilities, infrastructure, human resources, and budget), and community behavior. Regarding the policy network, the government remains the dominant actor, while the involvement of the public, community groups, and the private sector remains suboptimal. This study recommends a Multi-Stakeholder Collaboration-Based Waste Management Policy Model, achieved through strengthened inter-actor coordination, improved facilities and infrastructure, optimized 3R facilities, and enhanced public education and participation to realize effective and sustainable waste management tailored to the local characteristics of Panca Rijang District.</p>Andi Artika SariBarisanIrwan

<p>The presence of broiler chicken farms in Tuncung Village, Maiwa District, Enrekang Regency, has social and environmental impacts on the local community. This study aims to analyze these social and environmental impacts and to determine the community's response and attitude toward the farms' presence. A descriptive quantitative approach was employed, involving 93 respondents selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected via questionnaires using a three-point Likert scale (agree, undecided, and disagree) and subsequently analyzed descriptively using IBM SPSS Statistics. The results indicate that the social impact falls into the moderate category, with an average score of 72%, reflected in changes to social interactions, public perception, and the potential for social conflict. The environmental impact also falls into the moderate category, with an average score of 75%, encompassing issues such as odor, farm waste, and reduced environmental comfort. <p>This study compared the distribution of Rockwell A hardness in SMAW joints with V- and X-grooves made from 10 mm low-carbon steel plates. Welding used 3.2 mm AWS E7016/LB 52U electrodes. Three specimens were prepared for each groove, and hardness was measured at three points in the base metal, heat-affected zone (HAZ), and weld metal. The data were analyzed descriptively using specimen means and combined means for each region. The X-groove produced higher combined means than the V-groove in the base metal (80.92 versus 77.52 HRA), HAZ (81.85 versus 79.77 HRA), and weld metal (83.92 versus 81.98 HRA). The highest regional mean was approximately 84.16 HRA in the weld metal of specimen X3, whereas the highest value for the V-groove was 83.06 HRA in the weld metal of specimen V3. Both groove types showed an increase in hardness from the base metal toward the weld metal. Under the conditions of this study, the X-groove was associated with a higher hardness profile; however, this finding cannot be generalized as superior joint strength because only hardness was measured.</p>Irlando Raymond Hamri WaridinNody Poluan Sompie

<p>Manual wood sanding in small workshops requires considerable time and labor but may produce inconsistent surface quality. This study aimed to develop a theoretical design for a belt-sander wood sanding machine and determine the specifications of its main components. An engineering design approach was used, comprising a literature review, identification of design requirements, component selection, preparation of two- and three-dimensional AutoCAD drawings, and analytical calculations for the motor, pulley and V-belt transmission, rollers, shaft, and frame. The proposed machine uses a 1 HP (0.746 kW), 1390 rpm electric motor, 80 mm driving and 120 mm driven pulleys, an A-type V-belt, 100 mm rollers, a 25 mm S45C shaft, UCP205 bearings, and a 40 × 40 × 2 mm hollow-steel frame. The calculations yielded a drive-roller speed of 926.67 rpm, motor torque of 5.13 N·m, theoretical roller torque of 7.70 N·m, sanding-belt speed of 4.85 m/s, tangential force of 154 N, theoretical V-belt length of 1115 mm, roller mass of approximately 5.55 kg, and shaft torsional shear stress of 2.51 N/mm². <p>Records disposal is a crucial stage in active records management, ensuring storage efficiency, administrative accountability, and the preservation of records with enduring value. Although regulated by Pasuruan Regent Regulation Number 225 of 2023, its implementation within the local government faces various challenges, particularly regarding the assessment of record value and coordination among Regional Apparatus Organizations (OPD). This study aims to analyze the records disposal strategy implemented by the Pasuruan Regency Library and Archives Agency through the lens of Schellenberg’s theory and to identify factors hindering its implementation. A qualitative, descriptive research approach was employed. Data were collected via in-depth interviews, observation, and document analysis, and subsequently analyzed using the Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña interactive model, comprising data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing. Data validity was verified through source and technique triangulation. The results indicate that the disposal strategy was executed in four key stages appraisal, standardization of record selection, elimination of duplicates, and transfer of responsibility in alignment with Schellenberg’s principles. However, implementation remains constrained by reliance on OPD validation, the complexity of determining historical value, limited information regarding record utility, and the need to balance storage space efficiency with the preservation of historically significant records. <p>This study examines the legal status of ownership over residual motorcycle spare parts arising from part-replacement transactions at repair shops, a widespread contemporary <em>muamalah</em> issue that has yet to attain legal certainty for either consumers or mechanics. The unauthorized appropriation of residual parts without explicit consumer consent potentially creates transactional <em>gharar</em> and conflicts with the principle of ownership protection under both Islamic law and Indonesian positive law. The novelty of this study lies in the simultaneous integration of three analytical frameworks-the classical doctrine of abandoned property, the construction of the <em>Ijarah bi al-’Amal</em> contract, and Indonesia's Consumer Protection Law-an integration not found in prior studies on residual-goods ownership, which have generally focused on leftover fabric or construction materials. This study employs a qualitative field-research method with a descriptive-analytical approach within a normative-empirical framework. Primary data were collected through semi-structured interviews with one mechanic and four consumers at Bengkel Lima Kaum, Tanah Datar Regency, supplemented by secondary data from classical <em>fiqh</em> literature and contemporary Islamic economics scholarship. Data were analyzed descriptively-qualitatively using the Miles and Huberman interactive model, comprising data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing or verification, with data validity established through source triangulation. The findings indicate that the legal status of residual spare parts is determined by two key variables: the quantity or economic value of the residue, and the presence or absence of an indicated release of rights by the consumer. Small residues customarily left behind by consumers fall under <em>maslahah mu’tabarah</em>, as their status shifts to <em>matrukah</em> and may therefore be utilized by the mechanic; conversely, residues of significant quantity fall under <em>maslahah</em> <em>mulghah</em>, meaning full ownership (<em>al-milk</em> <em>al-tam</em>) remains with the consumer and must be returned. This study formulates operational criteria for distinguishing the two categories and recommends that repair shops include an explicit clause on the status of residual parts within the <em>ijarah</em> contract, as an instrument for mitigating <em>gharar</em> and ensuring legal certainty and fairness for both parties.</p>Fajar ArdiansyahMelly Firdawinata

<p>This study aims to analyze the forms of interaction between broadcasters and listeners at Radio MOST 99 FM Medan, examine the application of Islamic communication principles in these interactions, and identify the factors that facilitate and hinder their implementation. This study employed a qualitative method with a case study approach. The findings indicate that broadcaster–listener interactions occur actively through WhatsApp, telephone calls, and social media, fostering two-way communication characterized by information exchange, feedback, and emotional closeness. Six Islamic communication principles are reflected in these interactions. <em>Qaulan Sadida</em> (truthful speech) is demonstrated through the delivery of accurate and verified information. <em>Qaulan Baligha</em> (effective and appropriate speech) is applied through clear and easily understandable language. <em>Qaulan Ma'rufa</em> (good and appropriate speech) is reflected in the use of polite language and the avoidance of sensitive issues related to ethnicity, religion, race, and intergroup relations (SARA), as well as provocative and conflict-inducing statements. <em>Qaulan Layyina</em> (gentle speech) is manifested through a gentle, empathetic, and non-confrontational approach when responding to listeners. <em>Qaulan Karima</em> (noble and respectful speech) is demonstrated through equal and respectful treatment of listeners regardless of their backgrounds. Meanwhile, <em>Qaulan Maisura</em> (speech that is easy to accept and understand) is applied through the use of simple, accessible, and conversational language. Among these principles, <em>Qaulan Sadida</em> is the most dominant, as broadcasters consistently ensure that the information they deliver is derived from valid and reliable sources. The implementation of these principles is supported by broadcaster professionalism, adherence to broadcasting Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and active listener participation. However, several challenges remain, including technical disruptions, limited broadcast time, and diverse audience characteristics. The study concludes that the application of Islamic communication principles contributes to the development of ethical, effective, and harmonious broadcaster–listener interactions while strengthening listener trust in Radio MOST 99 FM Medan.</p>NurhayaniAbdullah

<p>This research aims to design a prototype of a landslide early warning device based on mechanical motion with an automatic displacement detector. The displacement of the soil pulls the rope and rotates the spool connected to the rotary encoder. The encoder pulse is processed by ESP32 into a linear displacement, displayed on a 16 × 2 I2C LCD, and used to activate the buzzer. The moisture sensor and MPU6050 function as supporting parameters. Seepage observations for 10 minutes produce a final value of 52 mm in loose soil, 28 mm in white or chalky soil, and 16 mm in clay. The system divides the prototype displacement range into Safe, Alert, Standby, and Caution from less than 1 mm to at least 9 mm. These thresholds have not yet become field hazard standards and still require calibration, documented repeated testing, and validation on actual slopes. The research methods include literature study, design, construction, programming, and testing on loose soil, clay, and white or chalky soil. The prototype uses a multi-level glass container measuring 85 cm × 35 cm × 60 cm with a media slope of 18.4°. The research results in a mechanical-electronic system designed to classify conditions based on shift values, ranging from safe, alert, standby, to caution. At the prototype scale, the warning range is set from shifts below 1 mm to at least 9 mm, with a continuously active buzzer at Warning III level. This threshold value is the prototype's operational threshold and still requires calibration and field testing before being used on actual slope conditions. <p>The high defect rate of Partially Oriented Yarn (POY) demands systematic Quality Control to maintain the competitiveness of the textile industry. This study aims to propose Quality Improvements to reduce the number of defective products using the Six Sigma Method. The research was conducted at a textile manufacturing company using production data from January-August 2025. The Measured variables include Denier, DTI, Elong, and Uster defects. The process was evaluated through the Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control (DMAIC) phases. The root cause analysis was supported by the P-Chart, DPMO calculation, Pareto Diagram, Fishbone, and Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA). Initial Measurements showed the process capability was at 3.16 Sigma with a DPMO of 48,851. DTI (61.76%) and Denier (22.29%) defects were identified as the most dominant. The main failures were caused by Machine instability, lack of maintenance, and operator fatigue. The proposed Improvements using the 5W+1H principle projected a 78% reduction in the Risk Priority Number (RPN). The post-Improvement estimation results showed an increase in process capability to 3.80 Sigma and a DPMO reduction to 10,747. The application of Six Sigma (DMAIC) effectively identifies root causes and formulates strategic Improvements capable of significantly reducing defects and increasing process capability.</p>Asep Robiyana TarmediTarmanHendi Iskandar

<p>Ethnomathematics research requires research instruments that can accurately describe cultural phenomena while generating valid data. Instruments with insufficient validity may produce biased information and consequently affect the quality of research findings. This highlights content validity as a crucial stage before an instrument is used for data collection. This study aims to describe the application of Aiken’s V method in assessing the content validity of research instruments developed for an ethnomathematics study on data and probability concepts in Buddhist temple tourism sites in Klaten Regency, Indonesia. This study employed a quantitative–qualitative approach in which the analyses were conducted sequentially and interpreted jointly. Quantitative data were analyzed using Aiken’s V method, while qualitative data were analyzed through descriptive qualitative analysis. The research object consisted of four research instruments: an ethnomathematics interview guide, a data and probability interview guide, an ethnomathematics observation guide, and a data and probability observation guide. The instruments were evaluated by three expert validators with expertise in mathematics education, statistics, and ethnomathematics. The validation process used a five-point Likert scale covering relevance to the research objectives, alignment with the instrument blueprint, language appropriateness, clarity of wording, and suitability to the ethnomathematics context and the concepts of data and probability. Content validity was measured using Aiken’s V index for each instrument item. In addition to the quantitative analysis, the validators’ comments and suggestions were analyzed descriptively to provide a basis for revising the instruments. The application of Aiken’s V method provided objective information regarding the validity level of each item and identified parts of the instruments that required refinement. The results showed that, overall, the research instruments achieved content validity ranging from valid to highly valid. The qualitative analysis further revealed that all three validators consistently recommended revising several abstract terms, such as acquisition, accumulation, epistemological, and historical, into more operational indicators that would be easier for informants to understand. Therefore, the validation results indicate that the research instruments are suitable for use in ethnomathematics research after refinement of the item wording, thereby improving data credibility and the quality of research findings.</p>Ratna SetyaningsihSulaiman

<p>The increasingly complex phenomenon of fraud in the banking sector requires effective and sustainable prevention measures. This study aims to describe the implementation of a whistleblowing system at Bank Jabar Banten Syariah (BJBS) Pelajar Pejuang Branch Office in Bandung, analyze its role in building a culture of transparency and preventing fraud, identify obstacles encountered, and provide recommendations for optimizing the system. The research approach used is descriptive qualitative, with data obtained through in-depth interviews, direct observation, and internal documentation review. The findings show that the whistleblowing system has been implemented through various official reporting channels and has contributed to increased ethical awareness and the formation of a culture of transparency. However, its effectiveness is still hampered by a lack of socialization, a culture of hesitation, and limited protection for whistleblowers. <p>Electricity has become a primary necessity for society due to its crucial role in various aspects of life, making its availability essential. However, most electricity demand is still met through non-renewable energy sources. Therefore, innovation through the utilization of renewable energy is urgently needed. PT PLN Nusantara Power UP Paiton has introduced a community empowerment-based renewable energy initiative through its Tanggung Jawab Sosial Lingkungan (TJSL) program called ARUNA LESTARI, in Batur Village, Gading District, Probolinggo Regency. The program provides clean electricity to 334 residents in Neighborhood Units (RT) 8 and 9 of Tanah Merah Hamlet, who had been without access to electricity for many years. This study aims to examine the empowerment process comprehensively to understand the implementation of clean energy innovation at the community level and its role in improving the local economy through an asset-based community development approach. The research employed a descriptive qualitative method, with informants selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation involving PLTMH Group, Poktan Kopi Batur Pandan Wangi, and Kelompok Srikandi Batur. Data analysis was conducted through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that the ARUNA LESTARI Program, through the optimization of the PLTMH, has not only improved access to electricity for residents of Batur Village but has also served as a catalyst for the emergence of various productive economic activities based on local potential. <p>The system was developed to improve cutting accuracy and efficiency compared to the manual method currently used by PT. PLN (Persero), Bogor Barat Customer Service Unit. The device utilizes a Delta DVP14SS211R PLC as the main controller, a DOP-103BQ HMI for inputting the cutting length, a proximity sensor to detect cable movement, and a pneumatic actuator for the cutting mechanism. The test results show that the automatic cutting system provides better accuracy than the manual method. For a target length of 1600 cm, the automatic system produced an average cut length of 1640 cm (+2.5% deviation), while the manual method produced 1680 cm (+5% deviation). Thus, the automatic system reduced material waste by 2.5%. In terms of processing time, the automatic cutting process required 800 seconds for 1600 cm and 2177 seconds for 3200 cm, whereas the manual method required only 10 seconds and 20 seconds, making the automatic process 78–105 times slower. <p>Essential oil distillation is one of the local economic activities developed by the Bunga Tani Group in Wayame Village, Ambon City, Maluku. However, the group still faces challenges in optimizing local resources, developing value-added products, utilizing distillation by-products, strengthening institutional capacity, and expanding market access. This study aims to analyze the local potential-based community empowerment model implemented through the <em>Atsiri Duskar Wangi</em> Program, a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative of Pertamina Patra Niaga Integrated Terminal (IT) Wayame. This research employed a descriptive qualitative method, with data collected through in-depth interviews, field observations, Focus Group Discussions (FGD), and document review. The results indicate that the empowerment process strengthened the group’s existing assets and capacities through capacity development, product diversification, supporting production facilities, by-product utilization, institutional strengthening, market access development, and monitoring and evaluation. The intervention increased production capacity from 200 kg to 515 kg per production cycle and increased group income from approximately IDR 24,000,000 to IDR 55,000,000 per production cycle. The program also supported the development of derivative products and the conversion of distillation by-products into compost fertilizer.
